Background:
The Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT) is a statutory organization established in 1996 as a Trust Fund under the Protected Areas Conservation Trust Act, No.15 of 1995. PACT contributes to the financing, sourced nationally and internationally, of the Belize National Protected Areas System – a system that is managed by Government Agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Community Based Organizations.
Position Description:
The Office Assistant is primarily responsible for providing general logistical, administrative, and operations support to all PACT’s work units and departments. The OA must be of service to others with a positive demeanour, outgoing personality, and commitment to customer service. The OA works closely with the Accounting & Administration Manager (AAM) and Administrative Assistant (AA) to maintain excellent office management services and offer reliable support to all other work units of PACT.
Core Competency Requirements:
High School Diploma
At least two years of experience as an office assistant for a well-established organization
Experience as a driver with a clean driving record is desirable.
Remuneration:
Compensation package commensurate with qualification and experience within a designated salary scale.
