Consultancy Service to design and conduct Capacity Building Activities for PACT and Stakeholders in areas related to Environmental, Social, and Gender Safeguards for project development and implementation
Background:
PACT attained accreditation to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in 2018, to enhance Belize’s access to climate finance thereby contributing to the sustainable management and development of Belize’s natural and cultural assets for the benefit of Belizeans and the global community. In line with its accreditation, the Trust has recently updated its Environmental, Social and Gender (ESG) Management Frameworks for alignment with international standards and best practices. Being cognizant of corresponding needs and to ensure the effective integration of the ESS and Gender considerations in projects/programs, PACT now endeavors to further build national capacity in the key areas of Environmental, Social and Gender Management for project development and implementation.
Services Description:
PACT is interested in identifying a Consulting Firm/Team to design and conduct training in project and ESG management in line with the Trust’s Framework. The objective of the consultancy is to strengthen PACT’s and national stakeholder’s capacity for the implementation of projects/programs, which effectively incorporate ESG considerations.
Specific Objectives of the Service:
- Develop Training Program and Training Modules in areas of:
- Environmental, Social and Gender Safeguards
- Project Management
- Project Monitoring and Evaluation
- Carry out Training Activities in Priority Areas
PACT invites interested eligible Consulting Teams/Firms to submit an expression of interest indicating competence and relevant experience in completing similar consultancies. Packages should include:
- Cover Letter expressing interest
- Curriculum Vitae (for each individual consultant)
