Project Goal

This project aims to decrease vulnerabilities in coastal areas by improving planning and decision making thus ensuring that country capacity is built to address future climate change impacts. In doing so, it encourages pro-environmental behaviors through communication and training, enhances the resilience of high-risk coastal areas, strengthens the public sector-community partnerships for data collection/monitoring, addresses issues of coastal construction, and overall makes life safer for Belizeans and visitors.
